The AMP Virtual Youth Program is an online subscription-based program designed to teach students music production through a combination of online courses, weekly live streams with lessons and Q&A sessions hosted by Coach Travis, and access to our exclusive community, AMP Connect.
Once you enroll your child, you will receive a login and password for the AMP student portal at academyofmusicproduction.com/login. Inside the portal, students can access all online courses, join live streams, and participate in the AMP Connect community. All live streams are recorded and available for rewatching in the "Rewatch Past Streams" module.

 The AMP Virtual Youth Program is designed for middle school and high school students. Our curriculum and teaching approach are tailored to engage and educate students in these age groups.
The program costs $117 per month. This includes access to all online courses, four live streams each month, and the AMP Connect community. Traditional music lessons range from $60 to $150 per hour, making our program an affordable and comprehensive alternative.
Parents can access payment settings by clicking on the avatar in the student portal and selecting the settings menu. From there, you can pause or cancel the membership at any time. Membership grants access to courses, live streams, and the AMP Connect community.
If you cancel your membership, you will lose access to the online courses, live streams, and the AMP Connect community. You can reactivate your membership at any time to regain access.
Live streams are conducted weekly and include both lessons and Q&A sessions. Students can ask questions during the live stream or post them on the AMP Connect community board. All live streams are recorded and uploaded to the program dashboard for future viewing.
AMP Connect is our exclusive community platform where students can interact with each other, post questions, share their work, and receive feedback. Questions posted on AMP Connect can be answered on the community boards or addressed during the weekly live streams.
Students can ask questions and seek help in the AMP Connect community. Coach Travis and other instructors regularly interact on the platform and answer questions during the live streams. Additionally, technical support is available through the student portal for any issues related to accessing content or managing the account.
Students will need a computer or tablet with internet access to participate in the program. For the music production courses, access to various DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) is recommended, although specific software requirements will vary by course.
Yes, an internet connection is required to access the online courses, participate in the weekly live streams, and engage with the AMP Connect community. Ensure you have a stable internet connection to make the most of the program’s features.
Our program merges creativity with STEM education, offering a comprehensive learning experience in music production. Students will develop technical skills in DAWs, learn about the science behind audio engineering, and gain practical experience in music creation. Additionally, the program fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
